A: | LIQUID BEARING Gasoline Conditioner is a fuel additive that is designed to improve the lubricity, and performance, of all gasoline engines. |
Q: | Why should I use it? |
A: | These days, with the cost of downtime, repairs, parts, and not to mention fuel, you should be exploring all avenues to save money and increase the productivity of gasoline powered engines and equipment. |
Q: | How does it help save money? |
A: | The internal components of engines generate a certain amount of frictional drag during operation. If this internal drag can be reduced, the amount of fuel that is normally required in order to overcome this friction can be “saved”, leading to fuel cost savings or increased power. Reduced internal friction translates into increased service life, increasing return on investment. |

Some parts include: Fuel pump - Fuel pumps run constantly so after many years of service the pump vanes, rollers or gears can wear, causing a gradual loss of pressure and flow. Fuel injector pump – Increases the pressure of the fuel to overcome the high pressures of the compression cycle, enabling the fuel to be injected into the cylinders. Mechanical units also double as a metering device, controlling the amount of fuel injected, as well as the duration of the injection. Fuel injectors – Delivers the fuel into the cylinders Valves and valve seats – Controls the flow of air and exhaust into and out of the combustion chamber. Valve guides – Holds the valves in position. The valve stem runs through the guides and the ends of the valves when actuated by the camshaft or rocker arms. Piston rings and cylinder walls – In order to develop the high pressures needed during the compression cycle, a seal is formed by the piston rings pressing against the cylinder wall. The ring/wall interface generates the most friction within any internal combustion engine. Not only does it possess the most swept area, only a minimal amount of lubricating oil from the sump is provided to assist in lubrication. While the main bearings are flooded with lubricating oil directly from the oil pump and carrying away excess heat, the oil control rings on the pistons are designed to prevent excessive oil from accumulating on the cylinder walls. |

LIQUID BEARING Gasoline Conditioner can be used at ratios as low as 1:1,200. For best results, start with a ratio of 1:800. Increase or reduce subsequent ratios according to desired level of performance or fuel quality. Use the following table as a guideline: |

Q: | Will it increase mileage? |

It would be irresponsible of us to absolutely guarantee a certain amount of any mileage increase as we have no control over the driving habits of anyone using our products. Having said that, we have had many reports over the years from people experiencing mileage increases of between 5% - 30% after using a combination of our Fuel Conditioner and Lubricant Treatment. |
Q: | Will it increase power? |

As with mileage, we cannot guarantee any increase but there are many reports of smoother engine operation and improved throttle response after treatment. Also refer to the answer in the section for the Lubricant Treatment. |
Q: | Will it void my warranty? |
A: |
New vehicle and equipment warranties are intended to cover defects in manufacture or workmanship. The use of LIQUID BEARING Gasoline Conditioner will not affect this aspect of the warranty, but equipment manufacturers and suppliers may discourage the use of such products while new equipment is still under warranty. Owner/operators of off-warranty equipment should protect their equipment investment by using LIQUID BEARING Gasoline Conditioner. In fact, recently off-warranty engines can benefit the most as internal components are properly run-in by then. Regular use will allow this peak operating condition to be maintained for longer periods, thereby increasing and maximizing service life. |
Q: | Is there anything I need to know once I start using it? |

One very important aspect of using LIQUID BEARING Gasoline Conditioner is the effect it has on cleaning the fuel system and components. After LIQUID BEARING Gasoline Conditioner is added to the fuel system, carbon, varnish, dirt and other contaminants will be dislodged and these deposits will likely travel through the fuel system where it will be caught by the fuel filters. It is important to have the fuel filters inspected frequently and/or replaced after the initial application, and on a regular basis after that. Older vehicles and equipment, as well as those operating in dirty environments will require more frequent inspection. |

Yes, there is LIQUID BEARING Lubricant Treatment, Diesel Fuel Conditioner and Penetrating Lubricant. Use all of the products in conjunction with each other whenever possible to maximize fuel mileage, cost savings, and service life. |
